In a song fewer than three minutes, rock band Antler Family channel a lifetime of passion and loss in the new video for “Bring Me Back My Love.”

‘Bring Me Back My Love’ By Antler Family Is On Boner Records.

Guitarist/vocalist Mia Dean portrays an attitude of obsession, against a simmering, raging beat informed by grunge, punk and classic stoner rock. Guitarist Tom Flynn, considered one of the Bay Area’s greatest guitarists, provides searing accompaniment to the pounding drums of Stark Raving Brad and bass of Tom Dean. Flynn’s composition “The Money Will Roll Right In,” written while a member of San Francisco’s Fang, has been covered many times, including by Nirvana, Metallica, Butthole Surfers, Mudhoney, and. Satirizing the myths about success in the music industry, the song apparently existed before Nirvana’s 1992 version, codified on vinyl on Fang’s 1995 album Landshark.

“Bring Me Back My Love” is from Antler Family’s recent self-titled debut, released in January. The eight track set was recorded by Greg Wilkinson at Ear Hammer Studios in Oakland, California. Antler Family is available from Midheaven/Revolver Distribution.
